Wine & Cheese Tasting with Sommelier Gargi & Cheese Expert Mansi

Our October was a huge success and delight for the Magic Cellars community members as we brought back one of our most special experiences for two back-to-back days which, sold out in a matter of a few hours! Thank you for such a great response!

Yes, we are talking about the match made in heaven! Wine & Cheese Tasting with our Founder & Sommelier Gargi Kothari and Cheese Expert & Judge Mansi Jasani from The Cheese Collective.

Guests enjoyed the pairing of 5 delightful wines with 5 artisan, award winning cheeses.

Prosecco & Brie
Bordeaux Blanc & Greek Feta
Langhe Dolcetto & Gruyere style alpine cheese
Primitivo & 15 months aged UK Cheddar
Tawny Port & Danish Blue Cheese

We also had a surprise cheese for our guests! One of India’s top award winning cheese – the Brunost style whey cheese. Gargi spoke about each of the wines while Mansi spoke about each of the cheeses. We discussed about the where the wines and cheeses are from, how they are made, the terroir, regional specific characteristics and how the wines and cheeses were paired.

The same event was done on 2 days with 35 community members joining us for the informative, intimate and interactive sessions.

The events happened at one of Mumbai’s most premiere tasting rooms – Experience The World of Wines – who is a great partner for such indulgent and sophisticated wine experiences. Their space offers an intimate setting that is great for conversations and coming together of the Magic Cellars community.
